Rides to hire takes the security and safety of our Riders and Drivers seriously.
- All trips are recorded by an Electronic Data system and communicated to our drivers.
- It is the professional and ethical duty of all Rides NS drivers to fulfill Riders’
- Each Driver application is validated prior to being accepted.
- Any Driver who fails to meet Rides NS’s standards will not be accepted.
- Rides NS Drivers use their own vehicle to perform transportation duties.
- Rides NS may assist Qualified Driver to obtain a vehicle if they do not have one.
- It is the responsibility of all Drivers to keep their vehicles in pristine condition at all times.
- Information provided by Drivers is verified prior to acceptance as Rides NS Drivers
- Routine inspection and verification of Driver credentials is conducted throughout their professional relationship with Rides NS Corp.
- When a complaint, violation, or infraction occurs, a Driver’s authorization may be paused, or their credentials may be suspended while the matter is investigated.
- Violations, infractions, and incidents may be reported to local authorities and appropriate disciplinary actions may be taken
Ability to Drive
All Rides to hire Drivers
must own a mobile smartphone with unlimited minutes. Drivers must be able to receive and send texts and emails.
All Rides to hire Drivers
must also possess a current and valid driver’s license.
Drivers who do not
Drivers who do not own a personal vehicle but meet all other criteria are welcome to apply.

Driver Compensation
Drivers are guaranteed a minimum of $70.00 of every $100.00 earned. Drivers keep all gratuities.
Rides to hire offers numerous incentives to all new drivers, which include:
- Competitive compensation
- Mileage
- Gas incentives with reward points
Drivers also receive flexible schedules and enhanced security.
Driver compensation is based on the mileage used for Rides to hire and based on average gas price.
To qualify for gas incentives, Drivers can not have any complaints or issues during the period and they must have a Rider Rating of at least 4 out of 5 stars for the period in which the incentive applies.
RIVERS INCENTIVES:
- Reward points toward gas usage.
- Competitive payment.
- Regular payment schedules payable on the 1st and 15th of each month.
- Drivers may also designate a specific pay date.
- We monitor and track fleets on the road for small independent companies.

(Less than 5,000 miles per month)

(5,001 to 10,000 miles per month – credited 25% gas cost)
Gold
(10,001 to 15,000 miles per month – credited 50% gas cost)
Platinum
(10,001 to 15,000 miles per month – credited 50% gas cost)
